My village
My village Mezhathoor is in Palakkad District of Kerala State in India. Its a beautiful village with paddy farms and puikkal kayal.
Famous Ayurvedic physicians like Vaidyamadham is living here for the centurries.
Cebturies ago it is believed that Agni hothri , son of vararuchi, conducted 99 yagas, 1 short to become Indra, in this viilage. All the sons of Vararuch was from different castes and they lived amicably with many stories. it may follow shortly.
Famous social reformer and literate V.T bhatathiripad also lived in this village.His drama in Malayalam 'Adukkalayilninn arangathekku ' was one of the famous at that time.
There is s Higher secondary school and a Grandhalayam (village library) in my village.
Its a calm and quite village with good people where I am living.
